Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions form the complete agreement (“Agreement”) between you (“the Client”) and Spectacular Cleaning Services, for the delivery of cleaning services.

By engaging the services of Spectacular Cleaning Services, you fully accept these Terms and Conditions.


1. Scope of Cleaning Services

  1. Spectacular Cleaning Services offers domestic and commercial cleaning solutions at the location specified by the Client (the “Premises”).

  2. Services can be scheduled weekly, fortnightly, or as otherwise agreed during the quotation.

  3. Service details are arranged between the Client and a representative or cleaner from Spectacular Cleaning Services.

  4. Cleaners will be dispatched to the Premises at a mutually agreed time and date (“Service Time”).

  5. All services will be delivered professionally, ethically, and punctually as agreed upon.


2. Service Modifications

  1. Any changes to the agreed services must be made at least 12 hours before the scheduled Service Time.

  2. Requests for changes should go through management and not directly to the assigned cleaner.

  3. Additional or reduced tasks will be considered based on management discretion and cleaner availability.


3. Client Responsibilities

The Client confirms that:

  1. The Premises will be safe and secure for cleaners to work in.

  2. Clear access to and from the property will be provided.

  3. Utilities such as water, electricity, and waste disposal will be accessible.

  4. If the Client supplies equipment, it must be safe and functional. Spectacular Cleaning Services is not liable for incomplete services due to faulty equipment.

  5. Any known hazards should be disclosed in advance.

  6. The Client has the authority to request services at the Premises.

  7. Heavy items must be moved by the Client in advance.

  8. Fragile or valuable items must be secured before cleaning begins.


4. Cleaner Non-Solicitation

Clients agree not to directly or indirectly hire, approach, or engage cleaners outside of Spectacular Cleaning Services for 24 months following the end of services. Breaching this clause may result in compensation for recruitment and business losses.


5. Quotes

  1. Quotes are based on property size, number of occupants, and the expected time to complete the work.

  2. All quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to reassessment upon property inspection.

  3. Final prices may change if the job scope is different than initially stated.


6. Booking

  1. Bookings can be made via phone, email, or the company website.

  2. Accurate property information must be provided during booking.

  3. The Client must provide valid payment details, authorizing charges for services and applicable cancellation fees.


7. Payment Terms & GST

  1. Payment is due prior to or at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

  2. Cleaners do not accept direct payments.

  3. Missed payments may result in service cancellation and cancellation fees.

  4. Insufficient funds will incur a $5.50 failed transaction fee.

  5. Legal recovery costs for unpaid invoices will be the Client’s responsibility.

  6. All prices include GST unless otherwise stated.


8. Cleaner Non-Appearance

If a cleaner does not arrive within 1 hour of the scheduled Service Time without valid cause, the Client may choose:

  1. A full refund, or

  2. To reschedule the service at a mutually convenient time.


9. Complaints

Clients must submit service complaints within 24 hours via the Spectacular Cleaning Services feedback form and include at least 3 supporting photos. Any resolution or refund is at the company’s discretion.


10. Exclusions & Limitations

Spectacular Cleaning Services is not liable for:

  • Incomplete services due to unsafe conditions

  • Damage from client-supplied equipment

  • Loss from unforeseeable events (force majeure)

  • Existing wear, stains, or irreversible damage

  • Breakage of fragile or sentimental items

  • Costs due to lockouts or key loss not caused by the company

  • Indirect or consequential losses from service delivery


11. Damage or Theft

  1. Any suspected damage must be reported within 24 hours.

  2. Claims outside this timeframe may not be honoured.

  3. Liability does not extend to cash, jewellery, art, antiques, sentimental items, or certain surface damages.


12. Cancellations

  1. Clients must provide at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or suspend a service.

  2. If less notice is given, an $80 cancellation fee applies.

  3. Ongoing service arrangements require written notice including the date of the last clean.


13. Inaccessible Premises

If cleaners are unable to access the property as scheduled, an $80 fee will be charged for administration and travel costs.


14. Termination

  1. The Client may terminate this agreement with at least 12 hours’ notice.

  2. Spectacular Cleaning Services may terminate the agreement immediately in the case of a breach.


15. Privacy

  1. Client information will be used solely for service delivery.

  2. All personal data will be handled with care and stored securely.


16. Agreement Changes

Spectacular Cleaning Services may update these Terms at any time by posting changes on their website. Changes take effect 12 hours after posting.


17. Severability

If any part of this agreement is deemed invalid, the remaining terms will continue to apply.


18. Copyright

All content is protected by copyright law and cannot be copied, shared, or distributed without prior written permission from Spectacular Cleaning Services.
